Alumni Terms & Conditions

Eligibility Criteria:

Please check the below eligibility criteria before registering for the Diving Australia Alumni Network

  • Athletes: Have represented Australian Diving at a senior or junior level internationally
  • Staff: Have worked in an administrative or High-Performance role within DA for a minimum of 24 months
  • Coaches: Have coached an athlete representing Australia at an international competition

 

Terms and Conditions:

  1. Participation in the network will be considered acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, and any ongoing updates to these Terms and Conditions.
  1. Diving Australia is the owner of the Alumni Network.
  1. Registration is valid for 12 months from date of confirmation.
  1. Once registered, details of the membership are not transferable to any other person.
  1. Partially completed registrations may be deemed as ineligible for consideration for participation in the network.
  1. All information submitted must be true and correct at the time of registration.
  1. The decision made by Diving Australia to accept a member into the network is final.
  1. Participants grant Diving Australia the right to use personal information and images including still and video footage for marketing and communication purposes deemed reasonable by Diving Australia.
  1. Diving Australia will not be responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any network or lines, servers, providers, computer equipment, software, traffic congestion on the Internet, etc. including, but not limited to, any injury or damage to participants or any other person's computer related to or resulting from registering for, participation in or downloading any materials in this network to enable registration and full participation.
  1. The participant agrees to indemnify Diving Australia against any injuries or damage to persons or loss or wrongful death, or loss or theft of property, whether caused by negligence or otherwise while participating in the activities provided throughout the network period from first registration.
  1. Diving Australia reserve the right to cancel, suspend or modify any activities in relation to the Alumni Network.
  1. The network may be withdrawn at any time without notice.
  2. The participant agrees to indemnify Diving Australia against any loss or damages caused by a cancellation, suspension, modification or withdrawal of the network or where a sponsor, partner or supporting individual or organisation fails to fulfil their duties.
  3. These Terms and Conditions may be altered where necessary.
  1. Diving Australia reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of a membership application, reject an application or disqualify a membership that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
  2. Although every effort will be made to ensure project materials are sent to the addresses (including email) stated during registration, Diving Australia takes no responsibility for lost or misdirected items not received by participants.
  3. The intellectual property and copyright of any material created in this network will be owned solely by Diving Australia, whom are free to distribute and market as they see fit.
  4. While effort is made to deliver accessible events and resources, Diving Australia cannot guarantee modifications to information and infrastructure and delivery and content to ensure full participation for everyone.
  5. I have read the Diving Australia Alumni Network Eligibility Criteria and confirm that I meet all the relevant requirements to become a DA Alumni Network member.
