Diving Australia is pleased to announce Emily Randall as a new Appointed Director to the Diving Australia Board and the appointment of Peter Dunlop as Chair of the organisation’s Finance, Audit and Risk (FAR) Committee.

These appointments strengthen Diving Australia’s governance capability and reinforce the organisation’s commitment to excellence in leadership, financial stewardship, risk management and strategic oversight as the sport continues to grow and evolve.

Emily Randall joins the Diving Australia Board with extensive executive, governance and sporting sector experience. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer of Swimming WA, Emily brings a strong track record in strategic leadership, governance reform, risk management and stakeholder engagement across complex sporting environments.

With more than two decades of experience spanning sport administration, commercial operations and business leadership, Emily has held senior leadership positions including Chief Executive Officer of Gymnastics WA and General Manager at SportWest and currently serves on the Water Polo Australia Nominations Committee.. Through her consulting practice, ER Business Consulting, she has also supported a range of sporting organisations in areas including governance, strategic planning, business analysis and child safeguarding. .

Diving Australia Chair Hayden Collins welcomed Emily’s appointment, noting the depth of expertise she brings to the organisation.

Diving Australia is also pleased to announce the appointment of Peter Dunlopas Chair of the Finance, Audit and Risk Committee.

Peter is an accomplished senior executive and experienced audit and risk committee member with extensive expertise in financial leadership, governance and enterprise risk management. He currently serves as Executive Director, Enterprise Services Group at the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC), having previously held the role of Chief Financial Officer at ASIC and the Australian Sports Commission.

Peter brings significant experience in strategic financial management, organisational transformation and governance oversight. During his tenure at the Australian Sports Commission, he led major financial reforms that delivered substantial efficiencies and increased investment into National Sporting Organisations, while also implementing enterprise-wide risk management frameworks.

A Fellow Certified Practising Accountant and Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Peter also holds Masters qualifications in Applied Finance and Professional Accounting.
