Diving Australia is delighted to announce that 2023 World Aquatics Diver of the Year, Cassiel Rousseau will join the DA Athlete Committee with immediate effect.

Rousseau has taken the diving world by storm in the past two years and is currently in Xi’an, China to take on the World Cup Super Final before commencing final preparations for Paris 2024.

Rousseau will join fellow Athlete Committee members Rachel Bugg (Chair), Laura Hingston Emily Meaney, Olivia O'Rourke and Anabelle Smith. The Committee are supported by Teri Crilly, National AW&E Manager as a Committee of the CEO.

The Athlete Committee is tasked with providing an athlete voice to ensure that athlete wellbeing and key issues important to athletes are heard and considered by Diving Australia.

DA CEO Alex Newton said, "We are delighted to announce the appointment of Cass onto the Athlete Committee. I know that he will be a valuable addition and ensure that we keep athletes at the heart of our decision making. I look forward to working with him and the rest of the Committee to ensure we provide an environment in which athletes can win well."
